Quotes

Robert: “It’s a little suspect for him to go, ‘Oh, I need to see that there’s proof of under 5%.’ No, you knew that going in. This is him talking to his lawyers asking them how do I get out of this thing.”  (18:52)

Joe: “How many of your email addresses are addresses that never open another email? Or bounce? Or do you have to clean up regularly? The difference with Twitter is that they are not cleaning it up.” (19:49)

Joe: “No matter how good the offer looks on paper, and this is for any marketer or content creator, you have to follow your gut. And I know Twitter management was saying, ‘This could be great.’ They’re screaming out on the inside saying, ‘Don’t do this deal.’” (24:11)

Robert: “I think this is a really interesting idea. Whether or not you can turn Spotify into an NFT marketplace where you can not only buy access to the music but to artist concert tickets or meet and greets. I think that’s a really good idea.” (32:36)

Joe: “The innovation coming out of these companies is amazing but it also feels a little bit like grasping for straws. They are not sure where we’re moving in this 2.5 world.” (33:19)

Joe: “Totally makes sense to me. I can see all of the things happening on Twitch creators. Netflix will start converting and doing some AD base deals. I can see 5 to 10 twitch stars with their own shows [on Netflix].” (39:52)
